Kids on the Yard (KOTY) is a women-led education platform dedicated to enriching the lives of children and families through personalized, student-centered learning. We serve Pre-K through 12th grade students nationwide, offering tutoring, homeschool support, special education services, academic intervention, and enrichment programs — all delivered by certified, passionate educators.

  • Academic Tutoring

    One-on-one instruction in core subjects, homework support, enrichment, and test prep including SAT, ACT, AP, and IB courses.

  • Special Education (SPED)

    Specialized support for students with ADHD, dyslexia, executive functioning challenges, and other learning differences using multi-sensory methods.

    Curriculum guidance, customized learning plans, and certified teacher-led instruction for homeschool families and learning pods.

  • Early childhood education certification or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of classroom experience at Pre-K/K level

What every KOTY educator needs.

Required of All Applicants

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Active state or national teaching certification
  • Minimum 3 years of classroom teaching experience
  • Successfully pass a background check
  • U.S. work authorization
  • Quiet, distraction-free remote workspace
  • Reliable computer and internet access

Preferred Across All Tracks

  • SPED certification or documented experience with learning differences
  • Homeschool or learning pod instruction experience
  • AP, IB, or dual-enrollment teaching background
  • Professionals actively working in their field

Choose your own hours within our scheduling platform. Peak demand runs 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST, but opportunities span all day.
